Hero Mages is a turn-based tactical strategy fantasy game that combines the fun of role playing games (RPGs) with competitive and cooperative cross-platform multiplayer gameplay. Hero Mages is played from a top-down perspective allowing the player full visibility over the battlefield. Each player commands a party of three fantasy heroes, including a powerful mage. Equipped with a set of dice and a hand of cards representing magical spells, players take turns commanding their party of heroes. With the power to unleash the wrath of the elements, summon heinous creatures, and manipulate the world itself, the player's mage is their ultimate hero as they leverage skill, politics, and luck to eliminate their enemies and emerge victorious!

***EXPANDABLE CONTENT***
Hero Mages can be expanded with In-App purchases. Expansion content is tied to your multiplayer account so you can use it on all of your devices (including your PC) without having to repurchase. Expansion characters will work in single player once you've logged into your multiplayer account for the first time. The map editor and custom levels can currently only be used in multiplayer.

Disappointed U start the lamest heroes and if u want better heroes u need to pay $10 for each pack

Great game for tabletop or TBS RPG'ers I've recently found out about Hero Mages, and - wow, what had I been missing. It's like D&D skirmishes, all the way down to the rolling of the dice, and online vs and cooperative play. The Gold version is where it shines, since you can play offline random and customized scenarios, to hone your skills or just have a quick fun blast. I can't recommend this enough - and you'll be supporting a single developer who's made this his labor of love for the past years! You can't access all characters in the mobile versions yet, but you start with 2 factions you can control - so that's already at least on par with Hero Academy, with the difference that you can mix and match them. And you can play against the 4 existing factions, and cross-platform play with people on iOS or browsers as well. The developer is extremely responsive, and he's working on adding more characters for you to play, adding asynchronous multiplayer and campaign modes as well, so the future is definitely bright.

Great Game! I got this game to play with my grandson and we both love it. I spoke to the developer about a question I had and he was very helpful. He is quick to respond. I am very glad I bought this game. It is amazing! The graphics are excellent. I have a Sony Tablet S and it works great on my Sony. Wonderful game!

Hero mages I played this at Gen Con a few years back. Glad to see it upgraded and mobile.

Incredible This game is amazing. Reminiscent of the board game Hero Mages. Graphics are crisp and the game play is strategic/fun. This game is a blast to play with friends online. You can do free for all, teams, and more with the option of adding bots if you want. The developer seems very dedicated to the future of the game. He responds to all comments and questions on the forums. If you have a good suggestion for the game, you might actually see it in the next update. I have nothing bad to say about the game, it's my new favorite on the Android. I think the best part is the cross platform availability. You can play from any computer via the web browser. You can also play on any Android/Apple phone/tablet.

Nice gameplay Fun game but VERY disappointing that the app purchase only gives you access to 33% of the heroes/guardians. The other 66% will cost you $20.
