Description
GPS Notification displays information about your GPS signal strength in your notification bar. It updates in real time, and gives more detail when you pull down the notification bar. You can also be notified of information by vibration, alarms, and text to speech!This application turns on automatically when the GPS is in use, and turns off automatically when the GPS is not in use. There is no need to launch another application, you can just look at your notification bar!

!CAUTION! Does not work on Samsung Infuse! !CAUTION! Does not work on Samsung Infuse! On Infuse the program DOES NOT autostart/ Stop when the GPS is enabled. Uninstalled within 3 minutes and found that there is a NO REFUND POLICY on this bad program.

New icon in status bar is hard to see in the sunny day. Is it possible to change the old one? Or let user to select?

Very Helpful Very helpful app in seeing the GPS connection status. It won't, however, show you how many satellites the device currently has a lock on. It only tells you how many it can see or is attempting to lock on to. This would be a nice future feature.

Definitely worth it! Very useful to find out why my phone/tablet doesn't know where I am yet (and how soon I can expect it).

Works good with Google maps.won't work with any app that that doesn't allow you to pull down your notification screen while the app is running.
