At the core of ActionComplete is management of four types of tasks: Actions (next actions in GTD parlance), Waits (Waiting for), Projects, and Ideas (Someday/Maybe).
The tasks can be assigned three types of metadata: tags, people, and places. Together the metadata form a context that can be easily filtered upon.
People are Google Contacts and the contact record linked to a task can be readily accessed right from ActionComplete.
Places in ActionComplete allow you to attach location context to the tasks. Vicinity view shows the tasks that can be done nearby and suggests geographical features with names similar to ActionComplete place names. E.g. if there are tasks linked to places "WalMart" and "Starbucks" the Vicinity view will show you all nearby WalMarts and Starbucks. From there you can view the Google map of a particular location and use a wide array of functions provided by Google Maps such as GPS-based navigation and user reviews.
ActionComplete supports voice entry for tasks. ActionComplete not only allows you to say the task name. It also understands places, due dates, and reminder times. E.g. saying "paper towels at walmart or target" will produce a task "paper towels" and link it to places "walmart" and "target" creating them as needed. You can also say something like "call john on March 5 at 1430". That will create a task "call john", assign it due date of March 5, and create a reminder on March 5 at 2:30PM.
ActionComplete comes with a configurable home screen widget that can be setup to show Actions, Waits, Projects, or Ideas. The widget allows you to perform the same operations as the main application right from the phone home screen.
Local export and import to/form comma-separated values (CSV) format can be used for backup and restore as well as moving data in and out of ActionComplete.
Convenience features of ActionComplete include assorted shortcuts, Due Today live folder, and integration with the system-wide search.
ActionComplete can be used on its own or seamlessly synchronize with ActionComplete for Web (https://actioncomplete-pro.appspot.com).

Unuseable, license check issue Unuseable, the app cannot be used if the license check fails. I use this app a lot, so if t cannot be used it is now useless. 2 stars from me.

Keeps taking me to play store It's a decent app and really helps keep my projects in order. However, it takes forever to sync with the web and the license check happens every time I open the app. Now it apparently is not getting a valid license so it takes me to the play store, where my options are open or uninstall. 3 stars till the licensing is less erratic and frequent.

Can't uninstall I want to uninstall this but I can't even find it. I have uninstalled other apps and didn't seem to have a problem. Guess I don't get a refund.

Great projection The GTD is not perfect, but the team behind are growing it at a good pace. Plenty of info and their support is efficient. After some polishing I might want to try it again. For instance: location has to be enter as coordinates instead of using a map.

Good app Just two annoyances: seems to check license every single freaking time you open it and should have a clean exit option where it doesn't sit there in the background using precious RAM (and restarting itself if you kill it).

Good App Great Support I have been using this app for a couple of weeks and ran into various issues, from importing from other formats(GTasks) to contact integration. At each turn the support was quick and helpful. Any problems I had were not flaws in the product but adjustments to converting from other apps, and interfaces. IE The people field is Case Sensitive. Simple really. but I didn't know. I recommend this app, using the dash board, web app and the android, Syncing when wifi is available. Can sort by many filters, names dates, tags, etc. GOOD.

Great way to get organized I have tried numerous to do list strategies and this one is working the best for me by far. Sync with the phone is very nice and exporting to do's that I have assigned to others is very useful. I think this is a really great little program. And developer keeps improving it too.

They stand by their guarantee. I misread the description, I thought it did location based reminders, but when I realized that it didn't, I emailed, and in the morning I had a refund. The dev also accurately resolved other concerns I had.

My favorite app This keeps me on track with GTD, much more so than something like Remember The Milk. I love the web interface too! I've never had any problems with sync (as long as my phone app was updated), and it's just great :)
