A great start, but more development work required Great start. This app is the only way I know to download content of a BT747 GPS to Android. However, the app tends to crash when writing the GPX file (on HTC desire). Usually it doesn't terminate the XML structure leading to problems reading the file in other applications. I have frequently had to kill the process after the application crashes. It would nice if I could choose where the files are saved, rather then just putting them in to the root directory of the SD card.

Finally good man made this app. It will be perfect if it also download AGPS assist data. I still can't find any apps/method can do it.
