Conflicts: Operation Barbarossa is a highly rated turn based strategy game which takes place on the Eastern Front during the Second World War.You are in the command of the German WWII armed forces - tanks, infantry and air force units - and the object of the game is to conquer the Soviet Union as quickly as possible. To have a chance to seize the top spot in the Hall of Fame you need to skillfully encircle scores of Red Army infantry units with your panzers, while battling both the feared T-34 tank units and the notorious Russian weather.

In order to be a victorious general, you must learn to coordinate your attacks in two ways. First, as adjacent units give support to an attacking unit, keep your units in groups in order to gain local superiority. Secondly, it is rarely the best idea to use brute force when it is possible to encircle the enemy and cut off its supply lines instead.
One of the compliments that this wargame has received is that many users have compared it favorably to the classic strategic board games by Avalon Hill and GMT.

Simply awesome Lots of fun! The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the lack of undo function. Way too often I accidentally move the unit to the wrong spot, quite frustrating. Of course, undo function should not be used to change the outcome of the battles, but at least non-battle moves should be reversible. Please, fix that!

Back to a ti.e when strategy was strategy... Fantastic. Love the feeling of being overwhelmed by the never ending Russian hordes. Lots of possibilities with random maps if you wanted to go there.

AWESOME This game takes you to the front line of the second world war that changed the course of history. With the German army at your command, you have a chance to lead Germany to victory or let history repeat itself by losing to the Soviet army.

Excellent! I enjoyed the lite version and have spent hours on the full one. Simple but entertaining, with plenty of challenge.

Great game! Played the lite version of Barbarossa and got hooked. Just finished the full version. Solid turn-based strategy game. An undo button would be a nice feature. It's easy to move one unit by mistake when selecting another. Great developer. Keep it up!

Best wargames with a designer that really listens. Joni Nuutinen makes the highest quality hex and counter wargames on the Android...period! He is very open to fan's problems and ideas. He LISTENS. A few of us were pushing for an ACW game. Get what we got? An ACW game.
