Description
Applies a shade that acts as a dimmer to ensure your eyes don't hurt. Far more powerful than Android's built-in brightness setting. Great for low-light gaming, web browsing, and eBook reading. It even saves battery life for AMOLED displays!More features:
- Widgets: Easy access to preset brightness levels.
- Tasker/Locale Plug-in! Set brightness based on time/place/etc. To disable, configure for 100% brightness.
- Brightness slider uses logarithmic scale for fine-grained control.
- Drag the app icon to your desktop to use for toggling on/off.
- Prompts to confirm very low brightness settings.
- Option to disable soft-key backlight (does not work on all phones).
NOTE:
*** If you accidentally make your screen go BLACK ***
1. Pull your battery or (Nexus7) hold power button for 10 seconds
2. Uninstall the app to reset your bad brightness setting
3. Reinstall the app and use it normally again

Lovely app. I originally installed it to disable the annoying backlight from the buttons- which this app did perfectly. However, as a bonus, it also pushes brightness further down than Android's "zero brightness" setting. Perfect for saving eyeballs while reading at night.

BATTERY SAVER!! Thanks to this little app using 5mb(ish) in the background my battery drain is only 3% in a 24 hr period. EPIC 4g CM10 4.1.1

simple and usefull Remarkable App it may dim the screen but really helps in night reading ;-) and saves some juice to :-)

Screen filter. Possible the best way to save battery on your phone and I am a crack head about that. Great app love it, tip tho charge your phone all the way first with it off and then turn it on, saves more battery.

works on GS2 I often work at night in a dark environment and the GS2 on low is still way too bright. This app puts a gray cast on the display and greatly reduces the brightness and flash light effect and makes it bearable to use in a dark environment. It does not actually decrease battery usage - just pulls a "shade" over it.
