Description
Voloco is a real-time voice-processing app that combines automatic tuning, pitch-shifting, and vocoding. You can pick a song from your library to sing or hum along to, and Voloco will automatically guess the key of the song.IMPORTANT: Voloco performs best with a CPU clock speed at 1 GHz or higher. There is some latency; this is a general problem with Android that currently can't be avoided.
Voloco's automatic tuning algorithm can tune output to the user's choice of six scale types in any key. Voloco currently supports recording segments of audio up to six minutes in length and stores them as stereo 44k WAV files on the user's SD card. These are large files, so emailing them is not a good idea.
TIPS
* Keep the mic close to your mouth and at an angle so that your breath does not directly hit it.
* Using external speakers will probably result in reverberation effects that can be rather fun.
Cheers,
Patrick
