# Hold space key and swipe up / down to toggle cursor keys.# How to use this keyboard:
1. Enable it in the "Settings / Language & keyboard / Gingerbread Keyboard"
2. Find a text input (mail app or message app), long press the text view.
3. When the popup comes up, select "Input method" and choose gingerbread keyboard.
* How to install optional dictionaries: Go to "Gingerbread Keyboard Settings" / "Input languages", select (re-select) the language you want. You can also download the language pack from the Android Market also.
* Hold space key and swipe up / down to toggle cursor keys.

There is also a free version that I made which worked like the stock gingerbread keyboard with some issues fixed for Droid 2, HTC devices, and Galaxy S devices.
# For Galaxy S / Tab Users, Vibration (HapticFeedback) = "Vibrate on keypress" enabled and "Custom vibration intensity" set to "Normal" (In keyboard settings and advanced setting).
# For keyboard size and padding adjustment, please go to
"Gingerbread Keyboard Settings > Advanced Settings > Custom keyboard layout" to set your favorite keyboard metrics.
To adjust landscape keyboard metrics, just rotate your phone in landscape and set your custom value.
Remember to click save to apply new setting before you leave setting screen (or rotate your phone) and enjoy the new keyboard layout!
#For those who worried about collecting data warning.
The warning message is a part of the Android operating system that appears when any third party keyboard is enabled. so don’t worry about it!

Nexus 7 Install The instructions to install on the Nexus 7 do not work. The long press on text field does nothing. Any ideas from the group? Thanks Bill

Love it Would like to say thank you it brilliant and best of all it fast but could do wiv more themes on keyboard to bright it up a little bit

Much better than ICS/JB keyboard Replaced the stock keyboard on my transformer with this and couldn't be happier. This is a much better layout, supports themes, is very responsive, and allows you to resize the keys to fit your screen.

Really love the additional features compared to the free version. Just upgraded from free version. Very glad I did because I can resize the keys exactly the way I want both in portrait and in landscape mode independently. Thank you so much for this excellent upgrade.

Great But it would be really good if we could have a bit more options for themes ICS theme! ... other than that I love how easy it is to type on this -Samsung GS3

First app you should install on any Android phone! I've been using the free version of this keyboard on all my Android phones since it was released! Bought the paid version today to support the developer and just want to say a huge thank you to Steven Lin for giving us this great keyboard! Using it on my Samsung Galaxy Ace, Galaxy S2 and HTC Wildfire S. Never had any problems with it, it's fast, smooth, animation looks fantastic and just works exceptionally well. Thank you, Steven!!

Easily the best keyboard app ever Very accurate, very nice to use with simple settings to work with. Dwarfs all the other keyboards in comparison for my Galaxy Note.

Simply the Best... I still use this keyboard on most of my android devices even loaded with JB. Still the best when it comes to high speed typing, word prediction, accuracy and overall performance. Simply the best. It's sad that the developer didn't launch JB keyboard with his modifications similar to this keyboard.
