The wonderful - magical world of mushrooms in a smartphone app for mushroom collectors and hobbyists, based on data collected by George Constantinides, teacher - fungal flora researcher.Available for iPhone and Android devices.
ATTENTION:
The app starts with a limited number of 24 mushrooms.
Using the internal PayPal payment of 3.00 Euros you can unlock the data and get the whole set of 250 European and North American mushrooms.

Each mushroom is presented with a photo taken at the finding place and described in detail about its fruition and edibility.
iFungi includes:
·Synonyms, local names, ecology, morphology, smell, taste, edibility information, medicinal properties.
·Useful information on the morphology of mushrooms and their identification, collection and storage.
·Comparison with other similar species.
·Information on poisonous mushrooms, and poisoning symptoms caused by each type of them.
·An illustrated glossary of useful terms of mushroom terminology.
iFungi is an essential tool for enthusiast forest and nature explorers.
The application allows you to shoot your own findings, take notes, and save your photos to their position in order to create your own personal fungi collection displayed on an interactive map.

Limited trial library App 3 euros for full feature. Dont know if paid app will have mushrooms native to my area. 24 trial mushrooms not native. Dont think its worth the gamble. Uninstall.

I like more free content I recommend dl A-mushrooms for more free fungi!! This could be ok for iphone.

Amazing application. ***Needs to have the ability to save the photos to the phone for sharing though.

Disappointed The app is really great. BUT... it only comes with a tiny handful of mushrooms, NOT the 250 promised here. Nevertheless, I liked what I saw so much that I decided to buy it at £3 for the remaining mushrooms. I clicked on the Paypal link and got an error (Samsung SG2). Still determined, I tried to email the developers. The email bounced back. Can't get through to them. A real pity.

60 mushrooms free, 3 euro for all 250 species deceptive, rather know up front this is a crippled trial app
