Description
ReadTracker is an app for keeping track of the books you read via the social reading service Readmill. It automatically syncs reading data to your Readmill profile where your friends and others can follow what books you're into and how far you've read. You can also enter your favorite highlights from right inside the app.
Please note that ReadTracker currently requires you to sign in to a Readmill account to be used. But don't worry, it only takes a couple of seconds and you can get one from right inside the app or by visiting http://readmill.com/signup
ReadTracker is a side project developed in my spare time and is not an official part of Readmill.
Uses permissions:
To connect to Readmill:
android.permission.INTERNET
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
To cache covers and/or language files used for experimental OCR support:
android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
For the experimental OCR support:
android.permission.CAMERA
Please don't hesitate to contact me on christoffer.klang at gmail.com if you have any problems or feature suggestions.
*) Some Readmill functionality is not yet implemented in ReadTracker – but you can always visit your online profile at http://readmill.com for the full range of functions.

This is an awesome app! I have reserved my comments in order to follow the developers updates, to see how devoted he is to making this an outstanding app for android users and I can truthfully say that, especially after communicating with him on several issues and watching vast improvements being made, he is a top notch developer and has kept his promises to make this one of the best android apps on the market. Tracking your reading material has never been more effective!

Strangely helpful Did I know I wanted to track my reading? No. However, it turns out this excellent app actually makes it easy and useful to do so. I like it. And I like Readmill.

Stopwatch? Who is interested in knowing how long they have read a book? Not me. Please add functionality to just input the page I'm on, thanks.

Looks promising, but too fragile yet The UI looks promising, but the app easily loses track of it's own state when you switch to another app, which is not unusual for a phone (for example, check something on my contacts, or just someone called me on the phone as I am reading). You start tracking and read for some time, but when you try to stop it later, you find out that the tracking is like never been started at all.
