Twitter etc. Needs to have a link to post scores on Twitter or Facebook. Great app though, so addictive and we'll worth 61p!

TRANSFORMER PRIME Great graphics, better than any free one. (I have tried) GAMEHOUSE needs to port all level themes not just four. Tilt controls are very touchy. (TRANSFORMER PRIME) Well worth your dollar. IMHO (in my honest opinion)

Score doesnt save Got 50,000 after competion with mates but the score didnt save so now they are takin th mick out of me, not happy!!!

Hi Y won't it let me get more games instead if four? It would be better if it had all the other ones too. my 99¢ just became a wast to this game!

So simple to play and addicting Easy to pick up, easy controls. A 9 year old can learn to play as well as a 90 year old.

Summary

I must admit that I couldn’t believe that our AndroidPIT team hadn’t tested Doodle Jump up until now—it is, after all, one of the most popular games on the market. In fact, it was a total cult game for iPhone, and I remember how happy Android users were when Doodle Jump was released for the Android market.

But does Doodle Jump actually live up to the hype? Those of you who haven’t yet tried the game: read on!

Features & Use

Doodle Jump is not a complicated game, and that’s what makes it so fun and charming. The game’s protagonist is Doodler, a lovable creature with a trunk, and the goal is to navigate Doodler from platform to platform , by tilting the phone to the left or right. Oh, and scoring points is important, especially so that you can compare them with your friends’ scores.

Of course there are a few hurdles along the way, as well as some power-ups. Some of the dangers you will encounter: weird little monsters and black holes. The latter cannot be destroyed, and thus must be circumvented. The monsters can be killed by shooting at them through Doodler’s trunk.

Bottom line:
Doodle Jump does not allow for multi-player mode, and it isn’t possible to share Doodler related stuff via social networks, either. Two major drawbacks, but on a more positive note the app is also lots of fun to play…

Screen & Controls

Doodle Jump does well in this category: it has been known to lag a tiny bit, but aside from that it runs really smoothly.
The motion censors react quickly and correctly, and the animation is nice and fluid,
The app’s design has a sweet, child-like and playful look to it.

Speed & Stability

It sometimes takes a few seconds for Doodle Jump to start, once it does, however, the app runs really smoothly. I’ve been using it for a year approximately and it hasn’t ever crashed.

Price/Performance Ratio

Section rating:

Only two stars in this category. If you’re paying 69 Cents for something, you kind of except to enter an ad-free zone, and that is not the case with Doodle Jump.
