Description
* NOTE: Don't use on Android 4.2 devices, it is known to crash and there is no solution yet *.nomedia files are used to tell media players not to scan certain folders.
StudioKUMA .nomedia Manager is a simple tool to manage .nomedia files in your SD card. Just tap and hold to toggle, or you can also perform multi-select.
NOTE: For Samsung devices (both Tablets and Phones) with Android 3.2, only internal storage can set .nomedia flags as the system deny access to SD card by 3rd party apps

Does its job, but can't uninstall it The app has done what I needed it to do, but it is not available in the apps list to uninstall. It shows up in the dock/menu, but when I go to Settings > Apss it's just not there. Galaxy Nexus (ICS, not rooted).

Stops the "disappearing playlist" problem. If you are tired of the media scanner taking forever to scan a large SD card and then erasing your playlists (people who've disabled the stock music player will have this issue) get this app immediately. I tried disabling the scanner altogether and lost my ringtones as a result. With this app you can just order the scanner to leave your external SD card alone. Great job Studio KUMA.

should be native simple and effective. devs should know about the .nomedia system, but until they all do (never) we need a way to do it for them. Android should make this easy for users, but this app does the job perfectly. [Samsung Droid Charge w/ TweakStock 1.4]

Doesn't work on Galaxy Nexus This does add the .nomedia file in Galaxy Nexus, but the Galaxy Nexus does not recognize it.
