Use the #butterflyEffect app to search Twitter and find hashtags, meet people or groups and discover links to popular content. Twitter has become the information network that people use to check for or report on news, events, sports, culture, music, etc. Hashtags are created by users to categorize their tweets and foster discovery by other users. Often, special hashtags are created for events, causes, marketing campaigns or merely for fun.Summary of features:
- Discover the active and engaged users based on the number of times they are mentioned or found within search results. Use this information to discover trendsetters, influencers and connectors based on their interactions and conversations.
- Find ongoing or upcoming twitter chats and discover the participants by searching for its related hashtag. Connect with users live tweeting from events or about your favorite TV shows or movies.
- Identify emerging trends or related twitter hashtags from trending topics or your search keywords.
- Translate tweets in foreign languages to your preferred language. Discover content from around the world. Connect with users across the globe.
- Discover original content, the freshest tweets and avoid spam by customizing your search criteria. e.g. exclude "ReTweets" or links, include/exclude hashtags, search for tweets in your language.
- Identify users you have interacted with by searching for your twitter username. This information can be useful on Follow Friday.
- Find genuine followers that share your interests, hobbies, opinions, etc.
- Use the Twitter mobile website or any of the compatible client apps to interact with users or tweets. e.g. Official Twitter app for Android, Plume, Seesmic, Twicca, TweetCaster etc.
