What is NHK Net Radio?
It's a service that offers live streaming radio programs of Radio 1, Radio 2 and FM Radio of NHK to you through the Internet. Our aim is to provide a solution for people who have difficulty picking up radio signals in 1) areas with poor reception (e.g. mountainous areas), 2) places with radio interference at night, and 3) in reinforced concrete residential buildings (e.g. apartments). If you can connect to the Internet, you can listen to radio programs with low noise. The streaming will continue on a trial basis until the end of 2013, when we will assess whether or not any improvements have been made.
