Description

AndFTP is a FTP, FTPS, SCP, SFTP client. It can manage several FTP configurations. It comes with both device and FTP file browser. It provides download, upload, synchronization and share features with resume support. It can open, rename, delete, update permissions (chmod), run custom commands and more. SSH RSA/DSA keys support. Share from gallery is available. Intents are available for third party applications. SCP and folder synchronization are available in Pro version only.

Great app. I am a .NET developer and need to update change and re-upload files on the go. Anyone who rates less than 5 Stars using FTP...does NOT know what they are doing. I have not tried other Protocol types and do not know if they even work or not.

It connects on both Wi-Fi and 3G.
Download / upload to / from server / SD Card.

couldn't ask for more...but it has that too.

No over write check When uploading will append, but when file is complete an you repeat upload, then the file is wiped, and upload starts from scratch. No over write confirm. Annoying.

I'm Amazed! I just did my first SFTP xfer from my local Ubuntu server. Was stunned to get 1.7MB/s download transfer rate! Only thing I'd want at this point is a progress indicator for the entire transfer in addition to the current per file progress bar. Oh, I should mention that its a Galaxy S2 Skyrocket which may influence the speed.

After reviewing all those games a few days ago I am back with a more techie app for all you clever Android fans out there. AndFTP is a FTP, FTPS, SCP, SFTP client software for Android devices (SCP is available in the pro version only). It has three main features: it manages FTP Servers and it has a FTP file browser as well as a device file browser. More details about what else it can do for you below.

Oh AndFTP, you handy little thing you.

It can manage several FTP configurations. It also provides a local file browser, an FTP file browser as well as options to upload, download and sync with support. What else? It lets users choose, rename and delete files, update permissions as well as create folders (folder synchronization is another pro version feature). It supports both FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and SFTP (SSH’s safe File Transfer Protocol).

AndFTP supports: FileZilla settings import, MLSD command and Dual SSH authentication.

Once a FTP server has been set up transferring data is a cinch—it’s fast and easy. Files that are to be transferred are highlighted and then sent.

Bottom line:
AndFTP is a useful app for all IT professionals as well as anyone who has an FTP account (bloggers, web developers, etc.)

AndFTP has a good UI and the touchscreen accuracy is great. Lists are a bit small, but I would say that most smartphone users and/or FTP client software users are used to squinting a bit every now and then.

AndFTP has been tested thoroughly by several of the AndroidPIT team members, and we all agree that performs pretty well. Its performance overall is quite impressive.
