* Sophisticated podcast download engine gives you complete control of how many podcasts to download and how long to keep the old versions. Downloads new content in the background, so you spend more time enjoying your content, and less time waiting on them.
* BeyondPod provides full control over what is being downloaded over your data connection. Update a single feed, feeds in a given category, or all feeds. Download a single podcast, the latest podcasts, or all podcasts for a given feed. Nothing happens without your knowledge. Podcast downloads can be scheduled to occur at a specific time, only when connected to WiFi, or only when the tablet is charging. BeyondPod also offers an option to automatically (1) Turn WiFi on, (2) Update your feeds, (3) Turn WiFi back off.
* BeyondPod's integrated podcast player tracks what episodes you have listened to, and supports automatically deleting podcasts at the end of playback to save space. There is also a configurable TiVo style "commercial skip" that lets you easily skip over content that you are not interested in.
* BeyondPod's Smart Playlist automatically generates playlists based on your listening preferences. (For example: First play the 2 newest podcasts of feed A, then play the oldest podcast of Feed B. etc.). If you follow multiple podcasts Smart Playlist is an excellent way to always listen to what you want.
* BeyondPod's Home Screen Widget gives you one-button access to your podcasts, SmartPlay, and SmartPlay updates directly from your tablet Home screen.
* Integration with Google Reader allows you to easily import your Reader subscriptions. BeyondPod will also synchronize the "Read" and "Starred" status of individual posts so you can read the same feed on both PC or Tablet.
* Assign feeds to various categories including your own (such as News, Sports, or Technology).
* Use BeyondPod to discover new podcasts and RSS feeds. Search for feeds, import feeds from a variety of popular directories, from Google Reader, or from external OPML files.
* Import any local files (music, audio books, voice notes etc) and make them playable in BeyondPod audio/video player as if they were podcasts.
* BeyondPod supports both wired headsets and Bluetooth receiver (via the AVRC profile).
* Use the Sleep feature to automatically turn the podcast playback off after predetermined period of time.

Promoted on O&A I'm a longtime user. Your app got a mention today, May 15 2013, on The Opie and Anthony Show.

Great app, great unlocking option. When I came across this one, I immediately installed it. It's almost exactly what I was looking for in a podcatching app. I also really like the way their unlocking works, because, not having a Google Wallet, it was really cool to be able to pay via PayPal. If only other apps would do this.

Problems with Landscape Mode I want to give this a higher rating guys however I can't get any podcasts to play in landscape mode on my Nexus 7. Hope you have a fix in the works as I really do like the app.

Does not even deserve one star Buggy as hell. Video playback is a joke. Keeps losing its place if screen turns off.

Just okay compared to the phone version. Although this is a pretty good app, I prefer the other BeyondPod app instead. Just seems there's a few features from the other version that didn't come along or aren't all that intuitive.

Almost perfect. Almost....... I love this app. It has completely replaced any need I have for newspapers. I have all my favorite rss feeds giving me data from my local paper and favorite national/world sources as well. I even subscribe to the funnies. My podcasts are there, and manage just as well as the phone version of the app, although i tend to use the phone more for that anyway. The only thing I wish is that It had a way to subscribe to non-sponsored video podcasts more efficiently or youtube suscriptions as well. Those are becoming more popular and That seems to be an area that this is lacking in. Overall, it's a must-have app for me. I couldn't enjoy my tablet without it.

Update isn't working for my tablet I've been using this app for about a year now and I do like it. It always did the job it was designed for. So I have no issues with its basic functionality. However, this latest update has rendered it useless on my tablet (Viewsonic gTablet) and I must use an earlier build I have saved. This update never loads past the header screen. The loading icon is on constantly and, if I tap on a feed header, then the app FC's (App No Longer Responding). Using the older build (BeyondPod 2.90.21 - mobi.beyondpod.hd) works perfectly though.
