Description
Simple C25K is a very simple, free and open source application that can be used to follow Josh Clark's famous 'Couch to 5k' running plan. After every interval the phone will vibrate and beep to let you know you have to start or stop running. The application can run entirely in the background so playing your own music during your exercise will not be a problem.If you have any suggestions for improvement of this application or if you have problems using it send me an email and I'll see what I can do.
Description of the permissions used:
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK
Keeps the processor in an active state. This ensures the timer will go off at the right moment.
android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE
Is used to detect incoming phone calls. If a call is detected during the workout, the application will be paused to make sure the alarm will not go off midst conversation.
android.permission.VIBRATE
Is used to vibrate the phone if an interval has come to an end.

This works! Does everything it should. Love that you can have audible or vibrating alerts. The only complaint i have is that if someone calls my phone while im running this app it freezes and no longer times my run. You have to restart entire run.

Week 5 day 3 I really love this app. Simple and it works. Although I think the week 5 work out might be wrong. Its seems like a large leap in progress.

Simple and great I wanted something to help me run and this is simple and perfect. No unnecessary features, uses little memory space in my phone and it is clear and simple to use. I run it simultaneously with music/radio and Endomondo to track my stats.

I love this! I had hit a wall in my running and started using this app to get over the hump. I love the beeps and the ease of use. It's simplicity is PERFECT! I love how easily my body has developed muscle memory for certain time intervals. I'm about ready for a 5k to 10k app. Please do one! Yours is the best!

Love this app! I tried to use a number of different C25K apps and this was the easiest one to use. It runs in the background while I play iheartradio. I would like it if it told you when you were halfway done or how many runs/walks you had left. Otherwise, it's great!

Great! Easy to use, small memory footprint, and I like the vibrate option for when an interval is over.
