Data channel toggle app+widget to save battery power and bytes on a limited data plan.Similar apps mangle the APN list of your phone, potentially corrupting it.
DCSwitch+ uses android's undocumented services to enable/disable the data connection in a clean, mean and concise manner.
NOTE: HTC SENSE not supported.

HTC Wildfire This did not work on my HTC Wildfire. Although I was given a warning about HTC Sense conflicting I thought it might work because I am using the ADW Launcher and kill HTC Sense. Sadly I was proved wrong. Still ... a few stars for warning me.

Works perfect on AT&T samsung galaxy, turns off 2G/3G and still allows wifi. *update: killed data and couldnt recover after sim card switch. ug.
