FBReader TTS Plugin

used to work Used to work great with Ivona. After the last update, all it does is lock up the reader completely.

Buggy on 4.1 nexus 7 It won't run using the built in android text to speech. Instead I had to download ivona, which IMO sounds inferior. Oddly enough this version will work with ivona but the plus version (not the same dev) will not.

Finally! I've been searching and searching for an eBook reader that can read to me on my commute so I don't have to put down my books, this is great. I won't deny that TTS could still use some work, but right now I'm just happy to have the feature at all!

Controls It would be great if audio controls were smaller or went to background so you can read while audio is being played.

Great plugin Great plugin to FBReader especially combined with IVONA, too bad the window obscures the text, would be nice if the buttons were to appear at the bottom of the screen or something.

Wont run on S3 Needs better operating instructions. Wont run on my Samsumg S3 with os 4.0

it's a good plugin but TTS+ has more options!

Try also TTS+ Plugin for FBReader Implements Bluetooth controls (play/pause/resume, next/previous) and has more useful settings and features. Also free. Search Play Store for "FBReader TTS+ Plugin". Definitely use with higher quality voices like IVONA or at least SVOX.
