Description
A (s)imple, (l)ight(w)eight cache cleaner widget, that displays the storage space used up by application cache files on your device. Yes this is a real "one tap cache cleaner". It helps you to clear all application cache files with only one touch on the widget. Yes thats right you don't need to install an app to do this job a simple widget is enough! No root needed. No ads. 100% fat free! Only 17 Kb small so it won't eat up your device storage space. It updates every 5 minutes to extend your battery life. You can clear the cache by pressing the widget. (It is also a button)This is a widget so you need to drop it on your homescreen it is not an app.
If you like more of those simple, lightweight widgets which only ask you for the permissions they realy need and don't fill up you phone with Megabytes of data even if they need to do only a small job then check the other SLW widgets:

Almost prefect Does the job. However, would be a truly great widget if 1. a notification appeared at the bottom of the screen after cleaning the cache (similar to that featured in advanced task killer) and 2. the resolution of the widget is improved for today's screens - it looks almost fuzzy on my galaxy note 2. While these are very minor issues, they do keep this from being perfect. Hoping the dev makes these slight changes!

many thanks, just what I was looking for Finally found a cache cleaner that's just that - no unnecessary permissions. Many thanks for this! I explicitly wanted a cleaner that is NOT able to remove browsing history, call and/or sms log etc - only app caches. I can see it cleans most of the caches, but not for all apps... e.g. Yatse (an XBMC remote) still holds 170MB of cache and Google Maps about 9MB. Maybe those caches are different and hence cannot be removed by this app. I don't mind, because if the 170MB in Yatse cache include the movie and tv-show thumbnails, they should not be removed anyways :-)

Ugly Terrible icon resolution. Makes my phone seem like a cheap POS MetroPCS phone.

Azhar. I really never new what cache was until I realized my phone was slowing down slot, then I used this app which has a low memory usage and was quick to download, you can't get more simpler than that,20 MB freed just with a touch of a button!!!!:)
