DescriptionJazz ScaleHelper is the fast way to improve your playing. With actual feedback based on what you played, Jazz ScaleHelper enables you to concentrate on the aspects of your playing that will help the most.
As it’s name suggests, Jazz ScaleHelper is a jazz scale helper. Jazz ScaleHelper listens to you play your musical scales and arpeggios and gives you feedback by showing you which notes you played, whether they are right or wrong, in tune or not and what your rhythm was like as you play even notes or in swing rhythm. Jazz ScaleHelper also allows you to hear what you played using the playback feature. Following along the notes you played while listening to your performance is a revelation to most people. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you can identify imperfections and you’ll find that they are easy to correct when you know they are there.
Before you play the scale, arpeggio or broken chord you can see the notes that are in it. There’s no need to buy a scale book ever again with Jazz ScaleHelper around. All the most common scales used in jazz are included. You could say it is a scale finder. All the music is there for you and when you are comfortable you can play the exercise and receive your score. An enthusiastic crowd cheers your top scores to celebrate your achievement.
Access to accurate feedback is not always available in your home environment but with Jazz ScaleHelper you have a knowledgeable companion who is always there. As you master the fundamentals of increasingly complex scales and arpeggios you will be able to accelerate your progress and play at a higher standard. Jazz improvisation will become easier as a variety of note progressions become natural.
Jazz ScaleHelper supports multiple users and a range of common instruments, keeping each user's history for each of their instruments. You can save recordings to study later or to show and play to your teacher and friends. Have fun competing with your friends to see who can get the highest score or who can maintain the highest average.
Jazz ScaleHelper contains everything you need for the instruments covered by the ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall examining boards’ jazz grades. The jazz syllabuses are available for download. Jazz ScaleHelper will be there for you every step of the way as you grow as a musician.
