Hi all,
I've already read somewhere about messages backup and how WhatsApp regularly makes automatic backups; nevertheless, there are still some points quite unclear to me:
- where are WhatsApp messages actually stored? Only on smartphone memory?
- Is it actually possible to read someone else's messages by another device using same login credentials?
- Assume I delete every message received within 24 hours from reception: can you confirm that there's no way they can be retrieved at all if any automatic backup occurred after deletion (thus overwriting previous memory state)?
- Does "deleting a chat" just mean deleting conversation with another user or... is there any kind of recycle bin that must be emptied sometimes? It seems this is not the case and a deleted chat is lost forever (unless for a backup, of course).
- Which are those services/devices/providers which might save your chats if you're sharing your account (as instance, does Google store any chat as it synchronizes your agenda's events and stuff like that..?)?
- How to turn OFF auto backup?
Thanks,
