Hi all.
first post here (typically have a fault)
Must admit, I'm fairly new to Smart phones, so please bear with me.

Not sure if anyone will be able to help or not.
My Moto G4 twin sims (about a year old, from new) has suddenly stopped use of the internet :(
I've checked through the settings @ wi-fi etc.
Seems to be connected to my Virgin ISP OK.
has anyone else had this problem that could kindly share with me?

PS...how do I subscribe to post's please?

First of all, did you fail to get internet via mobile data or via WLAN?

Download size < 0.15 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.
The minimalist app available on Play Store: https://goo.gl/ws42fN

Thats a tough one, there is a lot of different things that could interfere with your internet signal!
First-i would check with your carrier. There might be a issue with your account!
Next check your signal strength, a weak signal might be the problem!
You might also check your google settings to make sure everything is good.
And go into your internet settings. If you restricted any permission, that could be it!
There are a lot of good people on this forum that are willing to help!
When you have a problem, the more information the better!
As far as subscribeing to a post !
If you respond to any ones post it should show up in your favorites list.
I hope i helped you out!

Thank you both for the reply's.
I'm not sure it's a weak signal TBO. I have Virgin mobile bye the way.
I just wondered if it was something to do with something in the settings?
I guess I'll have to check with Virgin then?
They are a pain to get hold of :(

Can you get to your favorite web browser? If yes then you are allready on the Internet!
Had a idea..., are you using yahoo as a browser?
Yahoo just sold out to AT&T. When they did there was a lot of problems with thier home page. For awhile i couldn't even do a web search on yahoo! If yes then try using a different browser.
Next idea.... go to your internet settings.
Find your search engines, i have 3 different ones i can choose from, switch to a different one and see if that works!
If i have any other ideas i will let you know! But i still think you should check with your carrier! They have a technical department that could be more helpful!

One other thing!
Most or all android devices will not allow you to use the internet while talking on the phone!
So make sure your phone app is not activated when you try to get on the Internet !
Even if you disconnect a phone call, your phone app will still be active.
On my galaxy s5 on the home screen there is a icon at the bottom left. Tap on that, and all your active apps will be displayed. Then you just turn them off!
And if you do this everytime your done using your phone you will save battery life!
Hope i helped!
Lindsay

Just had another idea!
Have you been anywhere latley, like a business that had free WiFi?
Because if you connected to their wifi signal you still might be connected! And if you are out of range or if they changed thier password (and they do that daily ). That could be it!
Go to your wifi settings and check!
If so, its real easy to switch back to your carriers signal!

Plug the USB cable into the phone to charge it
Touch and drag it for notification
Touch Connected as a camera. ...
Touch the desired option
The USB connection option has been changed.

Thanks Lindsay.

I am using FireFox as my browser (same on the desktop), which has been fine since I bought the phone, just over a year ago.
Never used yahoo.

My search engine is usually Google.
What one do you recommend?

Firefox is associated with Yahoo!
Try MSN or AOL!
As far as a search engine, give Bing a try!

I've just chatted with a nice lady on you recommended website, and it appears to be a problem with my phone, so I need to take it to a local shop.
thanks for trying to help people.

Go to your internet settings.
Locate your search engines. One of them will be checked, just tap on any one of the others! Give it a try!
Have you called your phone company yet?

Hi all.
Well I finely gave up on Virgin's sim and got myself an ID one.
Am now back on line, with everything working as it should (fingers crossed)

Virgin was a complete waste of time in everything I tried with them.
I now have a better/cheaper deal with more Data etc
