Motorola Moto G — Screen goes crazy. Glitching.

Any one else's g4 frequently glitch? Factory resets are only temporary. It's done this since I got it over a year ago. If I'm filling out an email or sending a text it goes crazy with random letters and symbols and will not stop unless I hit the power button and sometimes sends the correspondence that way. ???
