Some of the engines that mobile game app developers could use that are pretty popular are Multimedia Fusion and Game Maker
Multimedia Fusion was formerly click and play, it does cost money to get but there isn’t any coding involved with it, games like I Want To Be The Guy and Noitu Love have been developed using this tool.
Game Maker has a light version that is free to use and the pro edition is pretty cheap as well. It has a scripting language that is similar to C but the users do not have to add code if they don’t want to. It amazing for 3d things, game like EG, Mando Medicals and Ninja Loves Pirate have been made using this tool.
