Samsung Rolling Out Jelly Bean Update For Galaxy S3 On August 29th?
Rooted Galaxy S3 owners have had access to Jelly Bean for a while now, but it seems that Samsung is very serious about delivering the official update for their record selling phone as quickly as possible. While we haven’t seen the usual leaks that we normally would before an OTA rollout, SamMobile and GSMArena are both certainly reliable sources, meaning that this could very well happen.
This particular rumor is regarding the US version of the device, but if it would happen this month, I would expect to see the international rollout happen pretty quickly afterwords (logical, considering that the international version was released first).
Android Jelly Bean brought a LOT of changes, and is hands down the best version of Android that was ever created. With the incredible hardware of the Galaxy S3, combined with an Android Jelly Bean update, it seems that this amazing device is about to get a whole lot better.
Rumor or not, the good news is that we’ll only have to wait 2 weeks to find out.
