A couple of weeks ago, we did bring you word that HTC might be thinking about giving the HTC One a jump straight to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Apparently, this speculation has been given more legs to prop itself upon, as HTC America's president Jason Mackenzie responded to several questions over Twitter about the alleged Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update on the HTC One.
Mackenzie mentioned that the Android 4.3 development for the HTC One is on track, where a rollout of the particular update will begin at the end of September as promised. Regardless of whether you live in the US or across the pond in Europe, HTC One units on both continents would be on the receiving end of this update.
Not only that, we have also managed to discover a blue colored HTC One (which lends even more credence to the story, since the blue HTC One was very recently launched in select markets) that had Android 4.3 Jelly Bean up and running. This alleged image was shot at IFA 2013, but then again, it could be a very good Photoshop job, but we would prefer to wire our brains to the former.
Should the HTC One receive the Android 4.3 update this month as on schedule, it would place HTC ahead of the competition since Samsung themselves will only release the Android 4.3 update to its flagship devices in October, while Sony has remained mum on the Xperia Z update schedule.
