As we all know by now, Samsung is announcing the Galaxy S4 in New York City on March 14th. That event is private, but Samsung is planning on inviting all of New York to watch the event live in the most famous real estate in New York: Times Square. 

According to Samsung's Twitter account, the company will be hosting a livestreaming event in Times Square to announce the new Galaxy S4. Those in the area who are interested in the latest and greatest Samsung device but weren't invited to the official press event can come and watch the big unveil live with all the other Samsung-obsessed New Yorkers out there.

Who knows what else Samsung has planned. Maybe they'll hire dancers, shoot fireworks, give away free phones or host a dance party. Lord knows they have the budget for it. I'm not sure which screen will be showing the event but it'll probably be the one that Samsung already owns on the South side of Times Square.
