I have been informed that the following apps have added support for Presto:
- Akimbo
- BeyondPod
- DoggCatcher
- PodTrapper
- Pocket Casts
The Presto developer is a different developer from those applications. Those developers are not responsible for Presto's implementation, bugs, or cost.
Presto is still in beta. Bugs are listed at the end of this description. Please e-mail me if you find new bugs. I apologize for the lack of updates; I bit off way more than I can chew this semester. Work is ongoing, but I can only spare a few hours at a time on some Mondays. Please be patient.
Apps using Presto must be restarted after upgrading Presto.
Download problems are a problem with the Android Market, not with Presto. See these pages for potential solutions:

For developers: See the home page for nearly drop-in code that replaces android.media.MediaPlayer, using Presto when available, or gracefully degrading to use the default Android MediaPlayer when not.

Remember that sending an e-mail is a lot more likely to get a problem fixed than anything else (such as posting a comment).
Internet access is necessary to play files from the Internet; before ICS, this was inherited from the calling app, but ICS changed this.

Terrible Customer Support I haven't had any issues with this application except on my Motorola Pro+. The Motorola Pro+ has a non-standard 4:3 (480x640) display which apparently this application is not compatible with. Given how basic the UI of this application is (99% of it is a library called by other applications) one would think that it would be a simple task to add support for devices with 4:3 displays. Apparently not though since I requested this from the developer months ago and it still has not happened.

Best way to speed up podcasts, great service I use Presto and Doggcatcher to listen to my podcasts at 2X. Customer service is outstanding, developer is very responsive -- literally within minutes. Well worth the investment.

Excellent Can't imagine listening to podcasts without it. Would give it 5 stars if it didn't crashes as often on BeyondPod.

Really annoying DRM, now has stopped working. Dear Aocate, Inc., You need to release an update that strips the non-functional DRM from your product. It's ridiculous how many dozens of times a day I have to read that Presto has failed its license check. And now that I finished listening to the book I started a few weeks ago, I can't get the speed of a new book up to where I want it. Am I just out the money I spent, or do you guys have any plans to fix your broken product? I'd be interested to know. Thanks.

No major issues. Works well adjusting speed while keeping pitch almost normal. Saves me time speeding through podcasts. Only bug I ran into was a licensing problem after a titanium backup restore which was solved by reinstalling Presto.

No work GNEX GSM and Doggcatcher Does not work with my GSM Galaxy Nexus and Doggcatcher.
