Epic 4G Touch Does not work

Only works on my cell if the volume is set to off or low... But if it's on vibrate, it doesn't work. Switched to "Where's My Droid" (HTC incredible)

Someone tried to steal my phone she put it on silent an put it in her purse she began to panic as I walked up to her an said give me my phone now
