Description
MetroCalc helps you use up leftover money on NYC MTA MetroCards.You tell it how much value your card has, and it will tell you how much to add to take advantage of the 7% bonus and end up with an even number of subway fares, with no leftover change.
Note: not affiliated with MTA or any other calculator projects.

Great app Works as advertised...not sure how it would continue to work if the bonus pct changes.

Unusable Having to tap +$.25, +$.05 buttons many many times instead of just entering the number is indeed horrible design

Plain vanilla simple Simply gets thing done what it's meant to do. Love the fact that it doesn't require any special permission. Good job.

Better UI would help. Needs to allow users to change all data because corupt mta changes all the time their prices. -g2

10$ min for 7%. If Ihave 2$ on mc that leaves 8$ not 10.75$ to add. Would be very useful

App needs this changed pronto COULD be a very useful app but needs one KEY factor changed. The MetroCard bonus amount is now 7%. But the app allows the user to enter dollar amounts only in increments of five cents. Consequently, not possible to calculate accurately (my own card currently has a balance of $xx.22). Emailed the developer asking to allow amount entry in increments of one cent; five stars then!

This application does what it promises. Unfortunately there are a few bad reviews by people who can't do math.
