help rooting HTC desire with 0.93 bootloader (froyo)

can anyone guide me in rooting my HTC desire with .93 bootloader. tried unrevoked 3 with no luck. can it be done?

this is supposed to work for Android 2.2 HTC Desire. Let us know if it works for you. If that is the method you tried and couldn't get it working, do you know why it didn't? In addition, if you fill out the phone information in your forum profile, that can always be helpful.

cheers for the advise mate but I got a find to look at it for me. turns out I just didn't install the driver properly.
