Simple Battery Widget is (as the name suggests) a simple battery widget for Android 2.2 and later.
It simply displays the current battery level in text and with color. The colors are configurable using a simple but powerful configurer.
There are three states "low" (0-15%), "good" (16-30%) and "full" (31-100%) which can have different colors in each widgets. The default colors for these states are: green for full, yellow for good and red for low.
The widget also indicates when the device is plugged into a power-source. The widget is capable of showing 1% changes but if the device supports it.
When clicking on the widget you will see detailed information on the device's battery and a button to re-configure the colors of the current widget.
This widget does not drain battery - it only updates when screen is active and the Android Platform sends battery-updates!
There will not be a Pro-Version because a Battery Widgets can't be complex enough to be worth more than a donation.
As developer I'm always looking for new ideas and would be happy to receive as much feedback from users as possible (not only for new features but also new apps ;).
