How to keep your apps up to date...

Just go to the Google Play store from your device -> menu -> settings. If it is not already set by default, tap "Auto-update apps" and choose the most appropriate setting for your needs.

You can also have notifications for apps update through Google Play. Just go to google play and select My Applications. there you can see all apps that are installed in your phone. If any application has updates that it will show with "UPDATE" text.
