entering the values in listview using database

I have an edittext and a add button on a screen and a listview on another .and I want my edittext values to set in listview using database

I want full code.

1. I am making an application where i have to add categories by going to add button on the listview page(category page) and the add button will take you to the new screen where you have a textview naming categoryname and edittext to enter the categoryname and the add button to save the category in the listview on the previous screen(category screen) ,I want this using database.

2. and there is new item screen where we have to fill all the fields including image and after saving that, altogether should go through the listview of electronic screen.
i have added the screenshots of my requirement pls PFA and go through it.
