Everyone seems to have a Google Wallet account these days, and Tap & Pay (NFC) functionality is built into Android 4.4 KitKat. Now the Coin Smartcard is making news too: a ''smart'' card that can store all of your other cards - anything with a magnetic strip - including credit and debit cards, loyalty and membership cards, access and gift cards.
But what is best? Most convenient? Safest? Is storing all your credit card information in a phone (or a smartcard) a better or worse idea than keeping a stack of them in your wallet or purse? Should we just keep stacks of cash under our mattresses instead?
