I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and it is rooted. My SD card, which has a 28 gig capacity, is only showing 7 gigs. I researched this, and it appears that there isa partition that needs to be removed. I connected to Windows 7, downloaded partition software, but the only thing that is recognized is the host computer. My phone does not show up. Any suggestions? I copied the contents of my SD card to my computer, but only the 7 gigs that are not partitioned were copied. So I don't want to format the SD card because the other 5 gigs I have on there were not copied. Please and thank you.

Hm, that's a tricky problem, for sure. Have you tried copying the 5 gigs of data that you need to save, into your internal memory as a lifeboat? You can then format your card with your computer or from the phone, and finally put the 5 gigs back on the card... Just a quick and dirty fix. I might be reading you wrong though - What's on that 5 gigs that you can't reach? Is it visible at all on the phone?
