Google Nexus 7 (2013) — whatsapp

I have recently got my nexus 7 and have to admit to being new to the Android side of things.

Only recently I have started getting a window come up from Whatsapp.

Which says the following "The page at whatsapp.dovelane.com says"
Please renew your whatsapp appearance.

It has only come about recently more so if I am reading newspaper's online.

Do I just proceed with the upgrade? as that is what it requests when I click OK.

Apparently I have read somewhere that you should not click 'OK' to accept.

So what I do is click the back button to retrieve the page I was on initially.

It goes eventually, but it's reared it's ugly head again today. Need a fix somewhere.

I will say try proceeding with the update, maybe it will fix the problem.

I do not trust it at all. I have now downloaded a malware program and
an adblock to hopefully prevent it.

I was of the understanding 'whatsapp's' sole purpose was for making calls.

Do you have whatsapp installed, I don't that's why I can't understand this prompt for an upgrade.

The addblock hasn't done anything to prevent it.

Maybe be best to do a factory reset.
