Samsung Galaxy S4 — slow phone

My s4 has run out of space and my phone has slowed alot is this because of the lack of space. Certain apps close aswell. Im buying an sd card with better space will this make my phone speed up the way it was.

Hi Stuart, for me, as we have the same probs before, I decided to root my device... and I explored.. haha, I found out that rooting helps a lot freeing up space as well as makes your device faster than ever. My browser opens up quickly and it's no longer hanging, like freezing up.. and my device now, after having appstoSD app, all of my apps went to my SD and RAM amount as well frees up. It would also be better if you'll buy new SD. Rooting is the simplest way as a remedy to that dilemma.. and by the way, I went to rooting-android.com site to have my device Rooted.. the result of their aid is so amazing .. why don't you give it a try? :)

Thanks tryxee. I've thought about rooting my phone before but its still under warranty and if I root it and I have a problem I void my warranty.
