I just bought an old Opel Zafira B (2011) with quite a s***ty receiver.
So I am thinking of getting a new one. When I look on Amazon (ger) I get a few with Android Auto (Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood) but also several with a full Android Lollypop or Marshmallow on it (xomax).
So I wonder, is Auto still updated. Will it even be more up to date as a device with Marshmallow on which i'll be stuck on? Does a device with Android Auto support car diagnostic apps, rear or dash-cams like the "full Android" devices? Is the car optimized interface of Android Car better or do I go with a non restricted version of Android?
What do you guys think?
TYVM!!
