HTC One X Getting Jelly Bean Update In October
Devices with carrier branding can expect the update to be available before Christmas, but at the rate that Jelly Bean is being adopted, you can most likely expect to see an update before that.
The update for non branded devices will naturally include HTC Sense, and with all the performance improvements that Jelly Bean brings, I can imagine that a good old dose of Mr Bean would make this already extremely fast device even faster.
So far, we only have confirmation that the One X will receive the update next month, but I would expect to see the One S and One XL updated shortly afterwards (the One X plus will ship with Mr Bean right out of the box).
So if you happen to own a One X, keep your eyes peeled for an update notification in the next 5 weeks (and be sure to let us know when you receive it!).

$300 - & it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S II will be dropped to about that price by December according to Radio Shack (who would've thought the place for all things electronic repair parts wise would start to lead in no contract smart phones sales) ...
It will be weird leaving HTC behind, but HTC needs a 4G One series No Contract (4G - 8 megapixel camera - 4.3") ...

Eric, I know that model from HTC is set to debut soon ... but I don't know if it is going to be a No Contract Android Smart Phone (& that's the direction I am going for by the end of 2012 / beginning of 2013) ....

Hey if HTC could make another "no contract smart phone" that's an improvement of the HTC ONE V - & make it a 4G LTE Smart Phone without Beats audio but with an 8 megapixel back / 1.3 megapixel front - I'd buy one right now (overall, its a good smart phone that would be great smart phone with just a few tweaks) ...
